Founded by co-editors Ian Anderson and Peter Farrell in 2006, Sliver Magazine is an independent music journal based out Minneapolis, MN that focuses on cutting through the hyperbole that is often associated with popular unpopular music.

Ian Anderson is the Editor-in-Chief of the Manitou Messenger in Northfield, MN and runs Afternoon Records, an independent record label based out of Minneapolis/St. Paul and Chicago.

Peter Farrell is the Variety Editor of the Manitou Messenger in Northfield, MN, and is currently studying abroad in Ireland.
